The Photograph
Wandering through the vast, empty Nevada countryside, I love abandoned buildings. Currie, in its heyday was a bustling little town midway along a railroad route that carried copper ore as well as passengers. By the time of its closure in 1983, the railroad had carried about 4.6 million passengers. Today, Currie just about meets the definition of a ghost town, with a population of around 20 souls.
